Nice lion pictures…. that zoo evidently takes good care of its big cats…. she (or they?) looked healthy, alert, and quite willing to invite you to lunch, which is usually a pretty good sign.

Yes, they do, but that lion was pretty old, and I believe she died. The current lions are younger. You might also remember from one of the photos I posted that one of them killed another when they were introduced into their new, and much better, enclosures.
Sad story.
But yes, these were neat to watch as they were active and fairly close to the viewers.
