Readers wanted . . .

I hesitate posting this . . . some might now I contributed an elven story for this contest.

Most of the badges are awarded by judges, but the Reader’s Choice is awarded based on feedback from readers. It would be nice if them who have the time would go read the entries, and provide feedback.

Before I give the link . . . I expect my readers to evaluate the stories on their own merit, and not vote based on familiarity with the author (for instance, me).

Therefore, by clicking on the following link, you, the reader, agree to be impartial and vote based on merit.

To this you swear, under penalty of exploding hemorrhoids, two hours of constant nasal drip, and months of unsightly nasal hair, to click on the following link ONLY IF YOU:

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so.  I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards.   I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way.  That would mean something to me.

Hahaha! I commented on the two I liked best. One was yours, by the way.

Dang, I forgot to mention . . . I’m not sure it will count unless you have a blog. I have to look back at the (lax) rules.

Sorry . . . I at least hope you liked them. Which was the other one you voted for? I only ask because a friend made a contribution based on my urging him to do so.

I now know that you contributed! I don’t like the sound of exploding haemorrhoids; I cant imagine that sitting down for so long reading will do them much good, but if I ever get the time I will :)

While not certain, I would guess there would be little noise as there is plenty of sound-deadening material surrounding the area. Unlike the escape of volatiles, there would not be a lot of propulsion pressure, and hence no woodwind-like sounds.
