Once in a while, when it strikes me as appropriate, I do one of these . . . this being the first ever.

No, not ride a horse . . . sharing stuff that crosses my path, and clean out stuff out of the corners of my mind. The fellow above was out for a ride on his horse, with his dog following along. Middle of the day, middle of the week, going through Woodland Park. Looks like a neat thing to do.
Also, I discovered Two Steps From Hell, and epic music as a genre (theirs being high on my list).
Here’s and example; the video is supposed to start at the 21m53s mark, but all of it is worth listening to if you like that kind of music. If you don’t have the patience, go to the 23m10s mark, and listen/watch for two minutes.
Note: for some reason the video loads with the sound muted. Click on the speaker icon (lower left corner of the frame, next to the “play” button) , and raise the volume to listen.
And how about this? The prototype for the Lexx?
That’s a moth on an office window.
Not speaking of which, a couple of days ago I happened to catch big red and orange out of the corner of my eye as I sat in my office.
That’s taken with my Samsung phone. I did not have time to go grab the Nikon, as I wanted to watch it all . . . sometimes these sights let me forget about assholes. Sorry . . . do I sound bitter? I’m not; just a fact of life.
Sometimes life is a bear . . . you just thread carefully, trying not to get disemboweled.
. . . and when you have a chance, you stop and look at the flowers . . .
These are the last flowers in our yard (actually, in pots). It’s supposed to hard-freeze over the next few days, and snow . . . geraniums are hardy, but they’re gonna get hit hard; they might not make it.
Reminders of the coming winter are about . . .
Hey, wanna see some neat maps? . . . just click HERE.
Perhaps you want to learn how to avoid bad arguments (fallacies). Say no more; click HERE.
I’ve been posting about planes, and coincidentally, I came across This Article. Now I want to find me one, real bad. I want to photograph it, and post it.
I did find this . . .
No, I don’t know what it is either, but here’s what you can do with it . . .
. . . and not only that, you can also do this . . .
Of course, from there it’s a short leap to . . .
That was from a recent trip back to Florence. I’ll be doing another post about neat stuff I saw.
This is a scan of one of my Escher t-shirts. I had bought them in Hawaii in the 90’s, and eventually wore them out.
At this point I’m wondering 1) how much more stuff can I add here, and 2) is anyone still reading this?
At one time, and possibly again, I had ideas for making a website for us to keep friends and family updated . . . of course, that was before Twitter, Facebook, Smart Phones, blogs, Google+, and whatever else if being marketed as social media.
I had even made up the home page, complete with links to the various stages of our lives . . .

Pretty corny, no? Think back 20 years . . . this was state of the art, and handmade.
Right now I wish I had some of this snack (it’s 1:30am as I write this) . . .
. . . but we are watching what we eat; trying to stay fit and healthy. I’m probably in the best shape I’ve been in years, and that’s after not playing racquetball for nearly two years (some of the people I used to play with predicted I would balloon up to 200 lbs).
It’s always interesting seeing how others see you . . . I had asked a friend to do a caricature of me, to potentially use with the blog.
. . . first he did this . . .
Personally, I never knew I looked like Dennis Hopper. So then he did another, less evil looking . . . I think it does look like me; a demented-if-I-were-a-Mormon me, but me nonetheless.
Of course, he also wanted to add things associated with me . . .
That’s now only half accurate . . . I no longer wear dresses.
OK . . . late is the hour, and I suppose I should wind this up. I’ll leave you with a picture of my office wall from the late 90’s, as was befitting the President of the company.
For those who made it all the way here . . . damn! I knew I should have added more stuff!

Please, if you are considering bestowing me some recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline nominations whereby one blogger bestows an award onto another blogger, or group of bloggers. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I would much prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would actually mean something to me.
Should you still nominate me, I will strongly suspect you pulled my name at random, and that you are not, in fact, a reader of my blog. If you wish to know more, please read below.

Note: to those who may click on “like”, or rate the post; if you do not personally hear from me, know that I am sincerely appreciative, and I thank you for noticing what I do.
