Two nights ago a freezing fog passed through the area. I knew about it because I was up late . . . er . . . I was up to my normal late hours I keep when I am not working the next day.
Yesterday morning everything was coated with frost . . . these are some of the pictures I took. There is not much narrative. The pictures speak for themselves.
Because there is not much narrative, I highly suggest looking at these in SmugMug. They look much nicer there, and you will not miss out on my brilliant writing since there is none beyond this introduction. There are two albums, and I am only including a few samples of each below. The B&W album was me playing around with trying to make striking B&W photos. It’s different, but I really like the effect, especially for the photos of the fence.
Please . . . I know few readers ever go to the SmugMug album I link here, but you might be surprised at the difference between looking at the photos here, and looking at the there.
Color Album: The Icy Fog Cometh
Black and White Album: The Icy B-n-W Fog Cometh
Here is a small sample of the photos in each. Note that not all color photos have a black and white copy, and not all B&W photos have a color equivalent.

So, if you are reading this it means you did not go to the SmugMug albums. Really, the photos look much better there than they can possibly ever look here.
But, it’s your choice. No matter what, know I appreciate the visit, and hope I was able to provide a brief escape from the real world.
